Bishop of Light, Kharasaki Larena Sarai
Larena Sarai hails from the slum city of Al Veer, where the most substantial numbers of tieflings and their descendants gather. She was a brief adherent of the Way of the Long Death, an order of monks based in one of the many monasteries outside the city. She excelled herself, becoming an agent for the Mano Costra, seeking out heretics and traitors within the Empire and beyond. However, a calling soon arose, and she sought to begin to master the laws and light of Farasta. She rose swiftly through the ranks, known for her passion for order, but tempered by a deep well of compassion for those who lived in squalor and torment within her home city. Where others had turned bitter and angry about the Empire, she renewed her dedication to its mission with unparalleled vigour, whilst using her considerable influence inside Kharasaki to make life more bearable for those in Al Veer. She is well known outside Kharasaki, and respected for her straight-talking, simple approach to diplomacy and her clear and palpable observance of the laws of her Divine Queen.
She is, despite that, a fanatic, and passionately believes that the world must be governed from the Empire of Light.
