Calculix
Luxxor Calculix was created by the nations of the world, led by Kharasaki, over two thousand years ago. He was intended to fight the Blight, and the other Dethroned, and to take his position amongst the Golden Ones. It was to be the greatest triumph of humanity, their own constructed God, calculated perfectly to operate in a way that would protect mortal kind from evil. For one hundred years, the nations of the world worked together to create Luxxor, gathering the prayers of millions to the banks of energy in his vast temple, with the hearts of three Titans within his clockwork chest, and the prayers of almost four million people raised daily to him.
Alas, somehow, the hearts of the Titans became twisted, and the reason behind their failure is lost to history. Slowly, but inexorably, the Steel Angel began to twist. When Luxxor was released, in an instant, it shattered into a thousand pieces, and reformed itself as The Calculix, Steel Conqueror. What followed was years of terrible battle as his machines overran much of the world, culminating in the vast battle where the Holy City now stands, where the goddess Asaldine sacrificed herself to banish Calculix in the abyss beneath the earth.
Since then, the Calculix has grown even mightier, turning nations of vast power beneath the earth to his worship. He is playing a long, calculated game to eventually erupt from the ground and seize the world for himself again.
