Svayakrav
Demographics
Nearly every inhabitant, and every citizen of Svayakrav are what we would call vampires. As this was the home of such beings, vampires on Torre are typically refered to as Svayars.
Government
Svayakrav is an independent socialist city state, run primarily by the two major guilds which support the city.
Industry & Trade
Considering Svayars need little in the way of food and drink to survive, and the city's existence itself is speculated as a myth, Svayakrav has an impressive flow of gold and goods. Under the supervision of Tochenog, the early Svayars became masters of smithing, masonry and architecture. Because of this, and the scarcity of goods actually making it out of Svayakrav due to secrecy measures, goods with the Svayar seal sell for mountains of gold when they are sold. The Svayar's frightening reputation has also paved way for many "protection" deals. Cities such as Eiseving cart monthly payments to Svayakrav so that none of their citizens fall victim to a Svayar hunt. Much of the gold from these deals and trade is typically put towards keeping the city and its location top secret when necessary.
Infrastructure
Shadow Vein Gondolas: Dotted throughout Svayakrav are areas where the shadows coalesce more than is natural. Colloquially called "veins" these spots serve as doorways into Nitri's home plane, the Shadowfell, where spectral gondolas captained by Runebound ferry Svayar through the city.
Guilds and Factions
History
400 years after the sundering, on the second passing of Lull's comet, a group of Svayar known as The Founders banded together with their heightened power from the comet to shackle Tochenog in the Shaded Summits and claim the primal power of fire for themselves. They used this power to carve out an area below the Baneln Glacier where they could congregate in safety and secrecy. Originally deigned Tochenyy after its creator, the city adopted the name Svayakrav, meaning "land of hallowed blood," from the local legends that arose shortly after its settlement.

Tourism
Outsiders leave Svayakrav even less than they enter. Because Svayars are nearly immortal, the city has strict rules on bringing outsiders into the colony, with one exception. Every 100 years, the city hosts a week-long grand festival where all citizens are encouraged to bring a mortal guest into the city. At the climax of the festival, all of the mortal guests are either killed or turned in a gruesome bloodbath.
