Dr. Vallery Erde, of the Four

Vallery is a tall, dusty woman in a blue suit. She can often be found sleeping, and sometimes actually doing her job. Her expression is usually drowsy, and she doesn't react to shocks of either the electricity kind or the surprise kind. She wears a small pair of reading glasses.
She has a troubling tendency to ignore harm, both to herself and others, and allows nothing to get in the way of her work. She is seemingly indestructible, and she has an inherent understanding of Unknown, which is possibly the most off-putting thing about her.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Despite appearances, Vallery is probably physically the strongest member of the Elite Four. She is almost indestructible, and capable of lifting massive stone pillars with use of her shovel and some leverage. Michael has gone on record stating she is the coworker he wants to piss off the least.

Body Features

Vallery is slim and athletic, although her suit and lazy demeanor don't give that away. Her hair is long, flowing, and dusty.

Vallery is the best archeologist in the world, even discovering the Gleipnir before Morgenstern.

Intellectual Characteristics

Vallery can read and write in every language, though not necessarily speak any of them. This includes sign language. Her mind is vast and alien, able to make the kind of logical leaps usually only found in crazy people (and Connor).

Vallery's Pokémon all immediately stand out in a crowd due to their runic inscriptions, but two go beyond that. Her Claydol, Golurk, Steelix, and Gastrodon are obviously all top-grade specimens, but her most threatening Pokémon are Darmanitan and Unknown. Vallery's Darmanitan is a unique ground-type breed, and her unknown is existentially horrifying.
Unknown Prime is actually six unknown, attached to each other by some strange method and almost resembling a floating spider. The letters that comprise it spell out "S-U-F-F-E-R" and it has far more power than it has any right too, held back only by its limited move pool.

Name comes from "Vale" and "Erde", the German word for earth
