Vulpine
The Vulpine are a race of humanoids with may traits similar to those of a fox. They are neither social nor antisocial, seeing the value in relationships formed, but rarely seeking them out. For this reason, the vulpine are one of the least represented races in the cities of the world, often living solitary lives wandering the land, carrying everything they own on their backs. Vulpine do not gather for any reason, with the exception of a mother with kits. Vulpine mating is often a one time occurrence between individuals before parting ways forever.
Society, to a Vupine, is a foreign concept. A Vulpine at home will have a territory which it wanders, hunting and gathering for the majority of its time. They are typically friendly with their neighbors, be they Vulpine or other humanoids, but do not actively seek out social interactions with them as many humanoids do. This can often lead to Vulpine being perceived as cold or rude, meeting once day and having a good natured conversation with a neighbor, then never speaking to them again for months or even years.
Vulpine coloration and physiology depends heavily on the environment they come from. Vulpine from the forests of Ursk often sport thin brownish red coats, while their cousins farther north are covered in much thicker white fur, and Vulpine living in the deserts are often covered in pale gold furs with enlarged ears for dissipating heat. A typical Vulpine stands just under 5 feet tall and weighs between 90 and 130 pounds. Vulpine reach maturity and venture off on their own around the age of 11 and live on average to about 50, though some exceptional specimens reach ages up to 100. Vulpine tend to be neutral in alignment, though chaotic Vulpine are not uncommon.
