Third Sundering

The Third Sundering came by the hands of a mortal man corrupted by the relic left behind by The Betrayer (the Ring of the Condemned, but this isn't known commonly) and made an avatar of him. This man, known commonly in this canon as The Ancient Enemy, swept across the lands that would become Candala and the lands surrounding it. Then being pushed back to the Ruins from where he emerged with the aid of the remaining gods and their champions and all but destroyed, the Ring taken from him. After this, the remaining gods decided to quiet down in order to avoid future incidents, and no longer openly walk the Material Plane, giving the world over to the Age of Mortals.
