The Joyous Island

A tropical beach surrounded by beautiful blue waters gives way to equally tropical forests. They are not thick and even that far from the centre, the lights and lively music from the settlement can be heard, drawing visitors in its direction. The land rests in constant twilight, though even those without darkvision can see as clearly as daylight in it. The village is built of white-stoned buildings and intricate brick paths, in which spectres dance and sing and play instruments, clad gaudily. Torch brackets shed golden light over everything. Food and golden liquor are available to all who want it, at any time.
The Bard's house is only slightly larger than most others there, and is draped in gold and orange chiffon. Within the halls of any buildings, the sound and sight of outside doesn't leak in, allowing for rest for those who need it. The Bard lounges on a low sofa, in a room filled with their instruments and some knicknacks from followers and ancestors, especially from the Pioneer.
