    The Creation of Helvell
    Celestial / Cosmic

First, there was only he, the Father of all life. The Father, in his curiosity and desire to share his existence, created the realm of Helvell. The realm was a paradise: without death, disease, war, famine, and hatred. The Father filled his realm with what he called the “Mortillis.” The Father built himself and the Mortillis villages for them to sing and dance with one another. Where they could praise their Father for giving them life and mingle with him. In the eons that passed the Father continued to build upon Helvell, bringing vast oceans and tall mountains for the Mortillis to explore to their heart's content. He created the first star to warm the skin of the Mortillis and the first stars for them to ponder in their beauty. The Father, however, lost his infatuation with Helvell, desiring to create something more for the Mortillis. A better world for them to live, one without the little struggles they already had on Helvell. The Father did not wish to leave the Mortillis without his guidance and protection, for they were too innocent and complacent to fully live on their own as a species. To keep the Mortillis safe, the Father created the Lords of Helvell, making them of his image. The Lords were created with the Father’s benevolence and kindness and were instructed to keep the Mortillis fat, safe, and happy. The Father then left to construct his new paradise. The Lords of Helvell ruled just as the father had for eons, working to keep the peace and protect the Mortillis.

    The War of Helvell
    Celestial / Cosmic

The Lord Yggdrasor, guardian of the largest village known to Helvell, soon began to slightly bicker with his fellow lords, especially over what he perceived belonged to him, which he deemed needed to keep his village of Mortillis happy. Yggdrasor’s fellow lords argued back to Yggdrasor, decreeing that he was to keep what the Father had given to him. The denial of what he saw fit to keep his people happy led to the creation of the first and worst sin of the 3 realms, rage. Yggdrasor, in his rage, killed one of his brothers. The death of the lord spun terror into the hearts of Yggdrasor’s brothers, but also awakened something deep in the lord himself. Yggdrasor had come to the revelation that he could take what he wanted, however realizing that if his brothers united he would stand no chance. The lord’s thoughts were soon met by his Mortillis. In his newfound idealism, he used the metals created to entertain the Mortilis to create the first weapons and armors. The complacent Mortillis were told to slaughter the lord’s brothers in his name and take all that they owned. Yggdrasor’s army forced the hand of the other lords to create armies of their own to defend themselves and their villages from the menace of Yggdrasor, but Yggdrasor’s corruption did not stop with him. More of Yggdrasor’s brothers realized that they too could take what they wanted and soon took their defensive armies and used them to take from their brothers. In just a few centuries eons of peace was corrupted, until all lords of Helvell marched on one another to take and steal what they wanted and desired. The wars soon became endless in paradise. The blood of the Mortillis and their lords stained the grounds a crimson red. The fires of burning villages filled the skies with smoke and turned them red. The corpses of the paradise permeated the air and made the realm smell of death and sulfur. In their wicked spires the Helvellian Lords commanded their armies to march on the other, in hopes of taking the realm under their control to please all of the Mortillis under their Father’s name. Eons had passed, with the bloodshed never ending and the realm never healing.
