Introduction the world to the players

Torineya is the magical world of adventure, and it has a big timeline of its development as a world. Most of the races you can think of can be found in Torineya, and you can help us inhabit the vast lands of Torineya with all these species. Starting from mere humans, going through elves and dwarves to exotic tabaxi, genasi, and lizardfolk - you will have the freedom to choose your background as you wish.

The known lands of Torineya include one massive landmass expanding from Northern Lands‌ to Blessed Shores‌ and a few smaller islands around this landmass. The modern age is marked as 900+ years from the Rising Star according to the most common chronology.

Torineya still has a lot of lore to be written! We mostly try to write it with playing Dungeons and Dragons in mind, but who knows - maybe one day the novels will be written in this world. However, one of the main ideas is that the players can co-write world history with us, and we would carefully introduce the adventure results to the world chronology. We plan to make the original adventure walkthrough a 'canonical', but it is still possible to replay with other players - maybe it will be so epic, that 'canon' will be changed: the world is still so much work in progress!
