Gardar the Guardian

Gardar is the God-Sentinel. Like most Tonireya Gods, he was born from the people's beliefs. People needed a guardian at the sunrise of civilization, and they sent their worship to their image of a powerful deity to protect them from evil, enemies, and predators. Eventually, the deity got his power and started to fuel the clerics of Torineya, who leaned on the protection of the innocent and weak.
The holy symbol of Gardar is the shield, one part of which is white, and another part is black. Temples of Gardar usually resemble some kind of fortifications, serving as a last line of defense in case of some disaster is approaching.
