Personal history
Thalis was born is a sea-elf community in the sea of swords. He became a priest of deep Sashelas after he received a dream of the god. shortly after this his mother was killed by Sahuagin and could not save her and one of his closet friends was killed by pirates which motivated Thalis to hunt them. he also developed a dislike of humans and prefers to interact with other elves. Shortly after his 80th birthday he left his home to see some more the wider world. He became a sailor and joined a pirate hunting ship sailing out of Waterdeep called the Blade of Tyr. In addition to being a sailor he also served as the ships medic and liaison with sea creatures. he is training to become a navigator.
Education
he leaned to combat skills by fighting sahuagin and gain further experience on the Blade of Tyr. he learnd to read and write elven and aquan from the priest at the local temple of Deep Sashelas. he can not write common.

he was once ambushed by three sahuagin and killed them all.
