The Gulthias Tree

Most recently encountered by an adventuring party who had ventured into The Sunless Citadel. There, they encountered a human druid, Belak The Outcast, standing beneath the tree. A fight ensued, with Belak, his Twig Blight companions, his pet giant frog and a pair of mind-controlled human minions fought against the party. Unfortunately for the party, Belak died before they could glean any information from him on the legend of the Gulthias Tree.
All they know is what they have heard in Oakhurst - the goblins living in the Citadel occasionally sell an apple from the tree. Red apples have curative healing properties. White apples... not.
