The day we met
10th of Hammer 1407 2nd Era
Day 1 10/01/1407
I was sat in a tavern called the Horse and Cart after a day asking about any other goliaths passing through the town, I heard a voice calling to me, it was Magnus, the human who helped me deal with a group of bandits years ago which helped protect my village, what a great fight. He introduced me to some other people that he knew and they in turn introduced their comrades too, there was Amber, Xodus, Hera and Jinn, all looked like capable fights exspect for Jinn. A messager arrived at the tavern asking for capable adventurers, I felt a bit reluctent to go as I needed to hunt down my accuser but I thought these people may know some infomation so I went with magnus and the little group. We were lead to the castle and was introduced to Lord Bertran, he asked us to locate his son and family sword and to turn them to him, we were not the only one to gather there though, there was other group and even mercenaries looking for easy money. We went to and over the wall to the commoners district, then went with another small group of commoners to the crossroads to lend my strength. We were attack by a pack of wolves and the commoners were riped to shreads, and no one was left alive, I fought the best I could but was out numbered so knowing when to pick my fights and start to do a fighting retreat back to the last known location of Magnus and the others at the outpost of the House of Odin. I made it back in one piece, more of less at the stroke of midnight hammered on the door to be let in knowing strength in numbers would preveil against the pack of wolves chasing me.
