Waterdhavian Mage Watch Arcanum

The magical police force of the city of Waterdeep, with powers of arrest over its citizens. Manned by one Watch-Wizard (lieutenant) and one Watch-Mage (sergeant) per patrol, they report to a Senior Watch-Wizard (Major) responsible for the Ward.

Roughly 220 sentients staff the Civic Mage Watch, each watchmember required to serve a minimum of 50 hours per tenday.
Each Arcanum is manned by:
One Watch-Wizard
One Watch-Mage
There are three such Arcana per Ward active during daytime hours, and normally one at night, though there are four Arcana posted to the gates of the City of the Dead at all times.
