Waterdeep

Called the City of Splendors and the Crown of the North, Waterdeep is considered the pinnacle of wealth, influence, and stability. Between its bustling port and the roads connecting it to the rest of the inland, it's a hub for not only commerce, but adventurers looking to make their own legends.
The city is run by the Lords of Waterdeep, headed by the Open Lord, Laeral Silverhand, and protected by the city guard (army), watch (police), navy, and griffin cavalry.
