Yartar sits about 100 miles east of the High Forest along the Dessarin River and the Evermore Way. It's a major trade city as the Dessarian river is a quick route to Waterdeep and the Evermore way is the only major road connecting the Northeastern cites to the sword coast. However the city is surrounded by hills and moores with the nearest city about 50 miles (2 days journey) away.
Nester considered his allegiance to the Lords' Alliance vital for the survival and prosperity of his city. He is quite cunning and vindictive.
Nester was acused of murdering his lover (Kandith Palyor) afer he was seen having a heated argument in public with her husband Tarron. Although he was cleared of all charges, there are rumors and speculations that the criminal organzation (The Hand of Yartar) was involved.

Nester has ageements wth the Hand of Yartar and lets them do whatever they want as long as he gets 10% of everything they do.

3. Any implication that he's a womanizer or otherwise has compromise morals.
4. Any implication that he can influence organized crime or mention of his ability to control the Hand of Yartar.
