Turn Order

When combat begins, all participants involved are assigned to a group by the DM. Most combats include two main groups: a party of adventurers and the enemies they are fighting.
Once each participant in combat has been assigned to a group, they roll initiative alongside the other members of their group and take the average of those results to determine group order.
Turn order within the party is based on their dexterity + their dexterity modifier, with characters with the highest score going first, and the lowest going last.
A character may choose to delay their reaction till the end of the round. If more than one character delays, they remain in the same initiative order after those who didn't delay complete their turns.
