Xa'ren

Xa'ren are the lowest rank of the metal guard, and is the most common type of guard. They deal with local crime, defense of the people, upholding laws of The Gilded Crown, and the upkeep of local Metal Guard , and Platinum Legion installations.

Qualifications

In order to sign up as a Xa'ren Metal Guard, you must be a Gilded crown citizen, some form of metallic dragonborn, and must be from, or directly related to a family from Kare. Loyalty is expected, however, training is given to those that sign up, and is not expected, though is recommended to earn respect from your superiors early on.

Career Progression

Any person who signs up through recruiters of their own volition, is give a good chance of making it through basic training, so that they may become Xa'ren. Xa'ren is the lowest rank, and does have the opportunity to climb higher in rank, however this is fairly uncommon, and usually only occurs when a particular guard is noticed, or when a person of higher rank passes or increases in rank of their own. the ranks increase as follows; Xa'ren, Xa'rel, Xa'rai, and finally Xa'mear. The grand General can also be seen as the final point on this list, however, more often then ton, the Grand General is chosen by the current emperor.
