The Arch Court of Le'Plor

The Arch Court of Le'plor is based in the Eye of Re'em. The court is made up of the leaders of most of the states in Le'plor. Each state or province that is a member of the ACOL, referred to as Acolyte States, has partial ownership over Re’em. This effectively makes Re’em a territory of many states. Any citizen of an acolyte state has citizenship in Re’em. The majority of the acolyte states accept citizens of other acolyte states as their own citizens.
A state becomes an Acolyte once they sign into the Treaty Organization of Le’Plor or TOL. This binds them into a non-transgression treaty with all other acolyte states. This grants protection for any Acolyte state from invasion, by force of a combined militia of the Acolytes. This militia is also enacted under extreme circumstances, as deemed so by the ACOL. To maintan status as an Acolyte State, the province must pay taxes to ACOL, enforce ACOL laws, and quarter and accomidate Executors.
Holding a seat of the court comes with several responsibilities that must be fulfilled as part of the contract.

When a decision must be made on a supranational level, ACOL must assemble to construct and pass an order. Orders are put into action once a majority decision has been made.

The court may assemble to act as the jury for international military or civil affairs. For instance, one nation making an appeal on a a tariff, or a land despute.

While ACOL includes most of the states of Le'plor, there are some notable exceptions.

Icarus, Clougs, and Quarenash have never applied to become Acolytes, and are therefore outside of the court's Juristiction.

New Drencrest and The Gold Isle are both territories belonging to Tredeth and The Opal Coast respectively, and therefore are technically Acolytes, though they do not have their own representatives.

Yolta was previously an Acolyte, but withdrew in the early 9th century.

Kato and Xoria both lost Acolyte status following O'tions revolution.
