War of the Ancients
The War of the Ancients was a extensive war that brought huge changes to the Ageroth Mountains and effects felt across all of Tomeria. Ultimately it led to the demise of the Ancients as they were once known and instead of real life beings they fell into myth and legend.
However it also founded most of the races that are now known that rule and populate the Ageroth Mountains. The war was divided into two main sides Avians Had a considerable numbers advantage over the Dragons and were led by the Roc's and the legend of a Phoenix who was considered a Prophet. This side of the conflict also had numerous lesser Ancients such as Perytons, Pegasi, and Hippogriffs. These races all wanted to push Dragons away from the Ageroth Mountains for their callousness to the needs of the other Ancients in the Ageroth Mountains. Dragons This side was led by the Gold Metallic Dragons even though the Chromatic Dragons were the main cause for the war due to their inherit evil nature, they were considered family by the Metallic Dragons and once the Avians attacked, the Metallic Dragons rose to their defense.
