T'ualo Clan Shields

The T'ualo Clan Shields is a long honored tradition for the Leonin's in the T'ualo Clan. They are an extremely important item for the Hunt that the T'ualo Apprentices are tasked with that turns them into a Warrior of one of the Prides. 
The Clan Shields are one of the 3 items given to the Apprentices before they go off on their Hunt. The shield can be given to them by someone retiring as an elder or it will be created for them if no one is passing one down. They are made out of several different things such as the plates off a stegosaurus, sections of a anklyosaurus, or wrapped and tanned hide from one of the Giant Buffaloes that grazed in the area. 
Once the Hunt is complete the shield will be painted and given markings that represent the Hunt and the honors based off what they killed with it. This would begin the lifelong and even multiple liftetimes of decorating the shield with markings, symbols, and colors to represent all the amazing deeds they performed and is a great place of pride for a Leonin of the T'ualo Clan.
