Inda-Jho Clan

The Inda-Jho Clan is a clan of Catfolk that are native to the Woods of Jira and live on the outskirts of the flood plains where the Clearwater River and Blackwater River tend to split into smaller and shallow tributaries.   This clan is the most diverse out of all of them typically having many Tabaxi, Wyans, Oreons, and a few Leonins. Unlike the rest of the Catfolk enjoys the water and rivers and predominantly eats fish. In fact Catfolk that are descended from family that have lived here for generations tend to have webbed feet to help in the water.   Due to their natural claws they typically forgo the use of fishing equipment but are known to occasionally use nets. Thanks to the abundance of fish in the Blackwater River however the Inda-Jho Clan typically enjoys the thrill of the catch and never worries much for food.   The use of boats is minimal as most prefer to simply swim but on a long day of fishing it's common for them to bring a boat to store the fish on during the day to reduce travel time to shore.   Due to their extreme success and plentiful bounty of food the Inda-Jho is the largest of the Clans nearly 50,000 strong with most of the water loving Catfolk having stayed content where they are in the Woods of Jira.     Heirarchy   Like the rest of the clans they have both a Leader and Deputy with wide respect for the elders.   Culture   Due to the ease of fishing in the area and the skill the Inda-Jho clan has developed over the centuries, the Inda-Jho are known for their lazy attitudes when not fishing and being easily content as they've never been particularly threatened by lack of food. They make their dens in the thick reeds and low growing trees.   However, their successful and lazy attitudes does not detract from their intellegience as they are great at finding the easy way in everything making them great tacticians similar to the Raju Clan . They are also great cooks and in particularly hard years the T'ualo Clan typically spend their time convincing them to help the other clans out in need.   They have a great relationship with the Raju Clan and tend to be at odds with the T'ualo Clan.
