Grimm is a dwarven company that was founded by the Dwarven Kingdom during the War of Ascension to create new and advanced weaponry. The company quickly grew to become the richest and single most powerful company on The Continent following the war and the creation of The Empire. During the Colonization Era the company was key in moving money, workers, and industry into the Archipelago. 
This brought them to the forefront of the steampunk technological boom. Grimm researchers discovered that the chraged magical area of the Archipelago allowed flight through airships using a very closely guarded secret of magic and technology.
