Summon Construct

2nd-Level Conjuration

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 90 feet
Components: V, S, M (an ornate stone and metal lockbox worth at least 80 gp)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You call forth a construct creature that manifests in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. When you cast the spell, choose a material: Clay, Flesh, Metal, or Stone. The creature resembles a golem or robot (your choice) made of the chosen material, which determines its stat block. The creature disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.

The creature is an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its actions and reactions from its stat block on its own, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. If the creature forces a target to make a saving throw to resist an effect, the saving throw DC is the same as your spell save DC.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, use the higher level wherever the spell's level appears in the stat block, or determines any additions to the stat block.

Spell Lists: Artificer, Wizard, College of Lore Bard
