Champion
The Champion focuses on the development of raw physical power honed to deadly perfection. Expert warriors and battlers, they combine rigorous training with physical excellence to create complex combinations of fighting styles and survive brutal conditions. A champion separates themselves from other fighters through their ability to land devastating blows much easier, and hinder their opponents through these strikes.
Additional Fighting Style
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you can choose a second option from the Fighting Style class feature.Improved Critical
Starting at 3rd level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. When you critically hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can impose one of the following effects on the target:- Become blinded until the start of your next turn.
- Become deafened until the start of your next turn.
- Reduce its speed to 0 until the start of your next turn.
- Remove its reactions until the start of your next turn.
Refined Warrior
Starting at 7th level, you can harness your martial skill to make sure your weapon attacks hit their targets. When you miss a weapon attack, you can reroll the attack roll, potentially causing a miss to become a hit. You must take the new roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength or Dexterity modifier (minimum of 1), and regain all expended uses when you complete a long rest.Remarkable Athlete
Starting at 7th level, you can add half your proficiency bonus (round up) to any Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution check you make that doesn't already use your proficiency bonus. In addition, when you make a running long jump, the distance you can cover increases by a number of feet equal to your Strength or Dexterity score.Additional Ability Score Improvement
At 10th level, you gain an additional Ability Score Improvement.Superior Critical
Starting at 15th level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.Survivor
At 15th level, you attain the pinnacle of resilience in battle. After you activate your Second Wind feature, you can activate this feature with the Second Wind to regain hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier at the start of each of your turns for 1 minute. You don’t gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points, and you can activate second wind without activating this feature. You can activate this feature once, before needing to complete a long rest.Champion’s Strike
At 18th level, you mould your weapon strikes into devastating blows. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to make the attack critically hit.
