You hurl a bubble of acid at a target you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 acid damage. A creature of your choice within 5 feet of the target also takes the same amount of acid damage as it splashes from the initial target.

This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8). You can also cause the acid to splash at an additional creature within 5 feet of the initial target at 5th level, 11th level, and 17th level.
