Thirrudallawop

Thirrudallawop is a frozen confection developed by Gnomes. It began as a "happy accident" when a storehouse that had picked up a patch of brown mold "ruined" a batch of Thirrendol. While the elves went away disappointed, the gnomes realized that the frozen cream was actually quite tasty and refreshing. They began to experiment, seeing how soft the cream could be after freezing and generally trying to improve flavor, consistency, and level of injury from dealing with the mold. Eventually, gnomish mages found they could use a combination of heat and cold magic to slowly coax the mold's freezing effects and then tamp it back, leading to a fairly stable process. Gnomes have tried various flavors to enhance their enjoyment, flavoring the sweet cream with molasses, marmalade, brown sweet bread, berries, fruits, nuts, alcohol, and other enjoyable additions.
