Psychic Storm

No one knows the origins of the Psychic Storms that wreak havoc on the Astral Sea. They are waves of chaotic energy, seemingly connected to thoughts and memories but given a physical force. They are capable of hurling ships distances away from their destination, tossing them through portals to other planes of existence, or, worst of all, severing the silver thread that connects many mortal visitors to their bodies.
