Noatanga

Noatanga is a material mostly found in Kaoru and Dojhan. Sometimes called "river jade", it is valued for its beauty when polished and for its strength and durability. It is also prized for its ability to hold magic, making it a valuable reagent in many magical items. The Aeotaen peoples of Kaoru believe that Noatanga was a creation of the Primal Spirits, melding the hues of nature with its fury and power. They often make medallions in the shape of Primal Spirits, binding them to weapons or wearing them as jewelry. More rarely, arrowheads, spear-heads, or even entire weapons might be made of the stuff, yielding a weapon primed for infusion of primal magics. These are incredibly valuable and fiercely guarded.
