Nightkin Owl

Nightkin Owls are a species of owl found in the Shadowfell. They resemble normal owls found in Tol but with unusual color variations that make them even stealthier when night hunting. The way the owls appear out of nowhere make some folk wonder if they have the ability to become invisible in dim lighting. They are sometimes found in areas in conjunction with the Shadowfell, and they can interbreed with other owl, passing their gifts on. This causes Nightkin Owls to appear in some of the darker places of Tol, such as the Murkendraw or shadowy parts of Neldorin.
