Lethara (lay-THAH-ruh)

Lethara is Yesharia's largest port and one of the few places that people from outside Yesharia are allowed to visit. It is sometimes called the City of Endless Domes or the Dreaming City. The inhabitants are largely Tishad, although rumors have it that much of Yesharia, including the great port, is under the control of and infiltrated by pure-blooded Yuan-Ti. Despite this rumor, Yesharia is largely free of the snake iconography normally associated with Yuan-Ti, although those who spread rumors suggest that this is carefully controlled to avoid suspicion from outsiders, particularly Yesharia's Dagundai neighbors. From Lethara, Yesharia sends out graceful ships to travel to other parts of Velnar, Keshwan, Dojhan, and even as far as Aldorath. It is a very ancient settlement, and some believe it to be one of the oldest cities in the world, if not the oldest.

Its title of the Dreaming City comes from the many dens for the smoking of Kashati, sometimes known as Dreamleaf. The Kashati trees grow throughout western Yesharia, and the harvest of them is a dangerous but lucrative occupation.
