Kuyutha Argenvolm
Kuyutha Aergenvolm is an Exarch of Bahamut, his first and, arguably, most powerful servant. He was once a mortal Dragonborn Paladin in service to the Platinum Dragon, and he fought in the Dawn War against the servants of the Primordials. Towards the end of the war, he found himself and a small platoon of loyal dragonborn soldiers under his command matched against a force of Giants, Myrmidons, and Titans far exceeding their own numbers. He wisely ordered a retreat into the mountain passes of what would one day be Azmartheon, forcing the army he faced to come after him in small groups. His squad slew many, many times their number, but their ranks slowly dwindled. Finally, Kuyutha ordered them to retreat and held the pass alone.
Although he fought valiantly and held back the armies for precious moment, in his final moments, Kuyutha fell. As he swooned, Bahamut appeared to him and asked him to give just a little bit more to save his fellows. His fervor rekindled, he rose up once again and sprang upon his enemies, laying many more of them to waste, before finally falling, overcome with mortal wounds. His sacrifice allowed the other dragonborn to escape and regroup with other forces. They returned and destroyed the armies, but it was too late for Kuyutha. A cairn was raised over his fallen body, and the barrow on the mountain trail became known as Kuyutha's Hold. But Kuyutha’s death had attracted Bahamut’s personal attention. He raised the dragonborn warrior to his right hand, granting him the wings of a Dragon and a direct vassalage, making him his first exarch.
Kuyutha is Bahamut’s right hand knight, and he only undertakes missions of great valor and great mercy. He is noble and self-sacrificing, ready to lay down everything for the virtues that the Bright Lord he serves embodies. He is the very epitome of chivalry: courteous, courageous, noble, and gentle. Woe betide the evil-doer that Bahamut deems worthy of his mighty exarch’s attention. Justice shall come to him swift and sure, on great wings.
