Katok Broadhide

Katok Broadhide is an Orc Ranger who resides in Aiyolhast. He generally likes to fight with a spear, but he also keeps a hammer for some types of battle. A few years ago, he helped his people by tracking and battling a monster boar that was terrorizing the hill towns he protected. Although he managed to kill the creature, he was grievously wounded. Although he healed, he didn't realized he had become infected by the curse oLycanthropy from the wereboar he had battled.

So far, Katok has managed to keep his curse largely secret and to avoid hurting anyone. During full moons, he heads into the wilderness to avoid running across people he might harm. He can tell his personality has changed some. He's gone from being protective and friendly to being callous and a bit belligerent. Sometimes his inner beast has pushed him to be more reckless and aggressive, but he does his best to keep it in check. As his temper worsens, however, he's beginning to consider who to reach out to for aid.
