The Ethereal Plane is a plane that seems to rest just beyond
Tol. Those within its vague confines can view Tol, but it appears gauzy and insubstantial to them. They can pass through solid material with ease.
Wizards and other learned folk refer to it as a "transitive" plane, having little native to itself, but largely used as a method of travel.
