Darkmoss Bayou is arguably the deepest, darkest, and spookiest of bayous in
Dalenshire. It’s also the demesne of
Odetta Brambleberry,
Granmere of the Brambleberry
Halfling clan.
According to local legend, the Bayou was an ordinary one up until 974
SKR. That year, the
Goddess Tilina o' th' Star visited Odetta to make her some kidn of bargain. Where the goddess' bare feet touched the earth, a new flower called
Stargleam grew. The
Primal Spirits were so suspicious of a God walking on
Tol that the trees crowded in, wreathed the bayou in darkness.
