Vagrodan

Sadly not everyone appreciated Amoriarozi. And the ancient forces gathered together to form an ancient force to destroy him. What they forged was beyond comprehension. A being of shadow and void, created by the minds of a council of fiends, fey, and evil intelligences from the great beyond. They named the thing "Vagrodan". Although they fought for a year and a day, eventually Amoriarozi was brought low, and Vagrodan was victorious. With the singular purpose of defeating the Gold Dragon completed, Vagrodan raged across Toivoa, indescriminately destroying anything that crossed its path. Vagrodan was eventually brought low, and defeated at the cost of many heroes' lives. Standing before them, and dealing the final blow was Kharis Razeiros. Leaping from a mountain's peak on the floating island of Skytear, Kharis fell like a bolt of lightning upon Vagrodan's back. His mighty sword Starshatterer clove through the dragon's Adamantine scales, and pierced its core. The resultant eruption of void energy anihilated Kharis, but the sword remained.
In its death throws, the two-headed monstrosity of a dragon crashed into the surface of Toivoa, and died. The sword, Starshatterer, is said to have been recovered in an archaeological expedition. This group of people searched for the blade. Unbeknownst to the rest of the expedition, one of the team found it, and kept it for themselves. The woman named Tesfahun secreted it away. Upon returning to her home, she hid the famous sword within one of the many temples there. There it shall lie, until it is needed once again to rid the world of a great evil. But woe to all who would seek Starshatterer, for the way is fraught with secrets, puzzles, and dangerous entities that guard it. Beware the Tim-An-Yidin.
