Frostbane Mantle

A tattered cloak made of white and blue wolf fur, the edges of the cloak are trimmed with ermine.  Ice crystals are evident throughout, as the magic of the cloak shimmers in even the faintest light.

The Frostbane Cloaks are made by the Gloam, from the hides of various wolves that inhabit the Darkfrost. They are then infused with the essence of a slain Frostshade Stalker.

While you are wearing this cloak, and attuned, you gain the following benefits.

• You gain resistance to Cold damage.
• As a reaction, once per long rest, the wearer can tap into the essence of the Frostshade Stalker, and become resistant to Necrotic Damage for 1 minute.
• As a bonus action, the wearer can emit a low howl, intimidating all creatures within 30 feet. (DC 14 Wisdom saving throw, or become frightened. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each turn, ending the effect on a success. Once a creature has succeeded against this effect, they are immune for 24 hours.)
