Don Ricardo Cervantes

Second Son of Borbon Cervantes. He realized from his ancestors’ failure that, instead of trying to slay El Culebron to expand, Borbon could expand by sea. He built a powerful naval fleet that was used to not only display nautical dominance, but build ocean trade routes that would bring wealth and alliances to Borbon.

Under Don Ricardo’s rule, Borbon went from a secluded warrior colony to the pinnacle of aristocracy and luxury. Because of his love for the sea and his desire to conquer, Don Ricardo took the bulk of his Armada with him and sailed out to expand his rule, leaving Borbon in the care of his sons, as his ancestors did before him

He has since returned, and claimed Borbon for his own. Since then he has tapped into dark powers and made deals with entities beyond reckoning in order to become an abomination. Don Ricardo has lived for hundreds of years and is said to even have the power to steal souls with a touch.
