Azure Azalea Ascending, or Triple A, is the definition of big fun. Standing 10 feet tall, bluer than the sky, and always carrying around a massive gourd of sake, Triple A is hard to miss. However, she wasn’t always so gregarious.
Early Life
Her story began with tragedy. Her clan, who lived in the mountains of Shau, had become more aggressive in their raids on local villages and trade routes. Eventually, they were wiped out by the [Shauian Military Force]. However, she was found as a baby in the ruins of their village and taken in by the monks of the Nightshade Monastery.
Growing up, she always felt self-conscious due to her heritage. The monks never treated her unkindly, but being a bright blue, 8-foot-tall teenage girl wasn’t easy, y’know? She would often make use of her race’s innate ability to shapeshift to appear as a normal humanoid. Despite her hangups, she excelled greatly at her duties at the monastery, in part due to her natural abilities and impressive physique. Rose, one of the senior monks, took notice of her and took her under her wing.
Transformation
It took years, but eventually Rose was able to convince her to let go of her anxieties and to embrace who she truly was. Since then, Triple A has become a much happier person. She realized that she had been unnecessarily clinging to a desire to “be normal,” and, after letting go of that attachment, no longer fears judgmental stares or worries about people possibly hating her simply because of what she is.
Triple A loves to party and have fun. Her jocular attitude has made her very popular among the monks, and her full-throated belly laugh has become a welcome staple of the monastery. On her various adventures, Triple A managed to obtain an Endless Gourd of Sake, and it has become her most prized possession.
On the Battlefield
Despite her jovial nature, she is a terror on the battlefield. Wielding a massive kanabo that most would struggle to even lift, she makes full use of her race’s innate strengths. When wounded, she’s not afraid to retreat and regenerate, only to pounce again a few minutes later completely healed.
(Seriously, Way of the Drunken Master class abilities + Mobile + Oni race features is very powerful. She kites as well as Kava. There’s a reason she’s an NPC!)
