The Screaming Jagunau (jag-uh-nor)

Basic Information

Anatomy

Mutated from ape-like creatures during the Cataclysm, jagunau are huge brutish creatures. Though their exact anatomy and morphology can vary a surprising amount, all jagunau hold the same basic pattern. The differences in jagunau appearance and anatomy are classified into 3 different groups.

The Norm

These jagunau follow the basic anatomical schematic of the species. All of them are covered in thick, long white fur. They have at least 4 legs, with their front pair being longer than their back pair. They typically have a short tail and round ears. Their canines are almost as long as their paws, used for threat display as well as killing and eating their prey. All jagunau have at least 4 eyes.

Mutated

Mutated jagunau have extra limbs and strange growths. This often takes the form of large hunchback lumps and half-grown legs. Some have multiple tails, others have teeth or claws which grow from areas they aren't supposed to be. The more normal-looking Mutated jagunau have more than 4 functional legs and can have more sense organs than the Norm.

Abominable

These are the most abnormal and monstrous-looking of the jagunau. It is theorised that they were created by more than one pre-Cataclysmic ape merging together. Common physical abnormalities include multiple heads sprouting from their neck and back, paws mutated to have two paws growing from the same wrist.
