Herbs
Bundles of dried leaves, roots, and rare flora gathered from forests, marshes, and mountain slopes. Herbs are prized by apothecaries, healers, and alchemists for their medicinal, poisonous, and magical properties. Adventurers often forage herbs to craft potions, salves, incense, and ritual components. This article do not include toxins. The color of the herb represents its rarity (common, uncommon, rare, very rare, legendary)
Antherica
An extinct flower that spellcasters of good once sought after. Forces of evil has destroyed all Antherica plant in Allansia.
Belladona
A highly poisonous herbal plant known scientifically as Belladona or Nightshade that is a widely known to prevent lycanthropy, but not cure it. The exact administration of it requires a skilled healer or herbalist.
Black Lotus
It has large leaves, fragrant, black flowers, a broad, rounded, perforated seedpod, and fleshy rhizomes. When in full bloom, it releases a sweet smelling aroma that draws creatures to it, where it causes paralysis effects. The plant then feeds upon the victims, thereby earning its deadly name.
Corpseroot
A type of fungal root that feeds off dead and decaying matter.
Death's Shroud
This is a dull grey swathe-like fungus that grows on rotten bark and dead logs in the midst of swamps.
Dragon's Tongue
A flower that blooms a bright crimson stalk in the middle, and is spicy to the bite. Also referred to as Drake's Nettle.
Driggen
This yellow herb is from the warmer climates. It is renowned for its ability to grow in even the driest conditions.
Droneweed
This leafy herb causes loyalty and servility when ingested in large amounts over a long period of time.
Eyebright
Eyebright is a plant with small black leaves and white flowers often found growing by stagnant pools in swamps.
Frostbloom
A rare flower that grows beautifully in winter, and dormant in spring.
Ilithorn Rose
This is a very rare and sacred plant whose green bushes produce radiant white blooms. Traditionally, such rose was used as tokens of Goodness to confirm to strangers the sincerity of the bearer's intentions.
Madder
This red herb is a common herb used in potions known to physicians as "wound drinks" because they stop bleeding and prevent inflammation.
Medusa Grass
The blades sway like snake-like tresses of the gorgon's head, thereby earning its name.
Mistletoe
A parasitic plant that grows onto trees, that contains toxins to ward off predators.
Myrtle
Its fragrant leaves are commonly sought for cooking, aromatherapy, and traditionally used for love and fidelity.
Mudcap
A common brown mushroom renown for its consumption in vitality brews, and traditionally used before childbirth.
Orcsbane
Orcsbane was a blue plant whose powdered root was a tasteless but deadly poison if taken in quantity by orcs-kind.
Phoenix Grass
Phoenix Grass is a rare red and orange coloured herb, so named because of its colour's similarity to the legendary Phoenix.
Sleeping Grass
It was a fiery-red colour, and produced many small flowers among its blades. The flowers emitted a very sweet smell when disturbed, and would fill the air with a cloud of pollen. It is not dissimilar to the Black Lotus.
Scarlet Lady
It is common herb often burnt as incense during religious ceremonies.
Sculliweed
It is a blue-stemmed plant with no flowers, though its glistening colour is quite remarkable, and it has a strong herbal odour. In some parts, it is also known as the "Luck Plant".
Skullsgrig
This white herb often used as part of an embalming process, and dried bunches of it (which have a considerable longevity) can be found in ancient tombs and graveyards.
Spriteweed
This turqouise weed earned its name for growing in places where the Fey would reside.
Silverbell
These plants have delicate silver flowers that whistle and tinkle as the wind blows, creating an eerie, calming sound that makes the listener feel quite relaxed.
