Thalora is the goddess of decay. Her domain is about the certainity of decline, the quiet beauty of entropy and the importance of transformation.

While feared by many she is respected by some as a caretaker of the dead. But those that do follower her are called the Guardians of the Waning Flesh. Those who embrace her wisdom find peace in her teachings of transformation.

Appearance & Personality

Thalora is depicted as a spectral halfling cloaked in withered leaves and fungal blooms, her face shifting between haunting skeletal features. With her father's evil acts weighing on her she has worked hard to convince the prime deities that she isn't like him.

History/Lore
  • A dying lord prayed to Thalora to save his town. Instead of granting life, she offered him a crown of withered vines filled with her power. Wearing it, the lord withered away but his body nourished the barren land leading to a fertile decade for his town.
  • Her presence is said to be noticeable only in the sudden appearance of fungus or mould in odd places, unsettling visions, or whipsers in the dark that echo like the sound of insects feeding.
