Star in the Morning (he/they) is a character played by Shannon (she/her) in the nonfiction one-shot A Crown for Tickles. He is a tabaxi divination wizard with the folk hero background.
Description
Star is 5'7 with blue eyes. He looks like a flame point cat, he wears standard issue school robes, except when he is doing heists. He has a pearl of power that is disguised as a black earring stud. Star in the Morning believes that he's entitled to a lot of things. He snuck into the hideout of the Litter and talked his way into these heists. He is a silly goofy little guy who hasn't really figured out that his actions have consequences.Backstory
Star in the Morning [AKA Star REDACTED] (he/they) is an underaged tabaxi who had been sent to the city of Acropolis to study under the great masters at the Acropolis Royal Academy there. He is too smart for his own good and often gets into trouble because he's bored. While skiving off his homework, he found other tabaxi and they taunted him to "try and keep up" before running off. Much to their surprise Star was able to locate them and sneak into their hiding spot. Unfortunately for that band, Tickles himself was in the hideout having come for a visit and he wasn't very pleased that they had let a stranger into their base. Star was able to talk his way into not being immediately being seriously injured and managed to talk his way onto a smaller heist. Over the past couple of months, he's worked his way up into the good graces of the other mob members and Godfather Tickles McGee. He is in one of the most precarious positions in taking this job as he is known to the Royal Academy of Acropolis. If he gets caught, he may have the most to lose. He carries with him an old spellbook (Arcane Grimore) that is disguised with a dust jacket that shows the title being "The Ten Heroes of Times Gone By" and a pearl of power that they have coasted with black paint and turned into an earring.Trivia
