Smidgeon

Smidgeon (he/they) is a character played by Jules (they/them) in the fiction one-shot Vespin Ventures. He is a goblin draconic bloodline sorcerer and a charlatan.

Description

A single gold earring, rotted teeth, pale green skin, a shiningly bald head, and tattered robes held together by rope found in some gutter - this 3'1" bundle of grime is the embodiment of that one time you tried to put too much paper through the shredder at once and it got stuck halfway through. Come to think of it, Smidgeon has been shredded more than once. But who are we to judge family tradition?
Liquid smarm draconically packed into a swindler's body, this little cuck is the absolute worst. But you don't need to know that. The Smidgeon you should be concerned with is the charming debutante who can rob an entire kingdom during afternoon brunch with its queen. He puts his fingers in every pie, savors what he steals, and throw the empty pan back to his victims before they've ceased being obsessed with him.

Backstory

Born under mysterious circumstances, Smidgeon was the result of centuries of trials conducted by Zaldreth the Eternal, an ancient dragon determined to combine his power with that of his hoard of goblin sycophants to create the perfect servant of his will. AS soon as Smidgeon's innate magical ability was assured, he was taken under Zaldreth's wing (literally) and put through intense training and conditioning. It is now Smidgeon's charge to carry Zaldreth's will through the world adding treasures, followers, and land to his mighty holdings and increasing his power beyond any other being in the cosmos.

• Smidgeon's character was inspired by the plot of 'Choice of the Dragon' by Dan Fabulich and Adam Strong-Morse.
• Smidgeon has a box of flags adorned with the face of Zaldreth's human person that he plants in significant locations for his father to claim later.
• This marks the third instance of Jules playing Smidgeon in a game run by Spencer
