Ruskell Faythorn
Ruskell Faythorn (any) is a character played by Leaf (they/them) in Arc 8: Ferrum's Light. They are a half-elf battlemaster fighter/swashbuckler rogue with the mercenary veteran background.
Description
Ruskell is a tall androgynous half-elf with deep bronze skin and jet black hair, usually worn in a loose braid. They have one dark eye, having lost their second in a scuffle that also left them with two large facial scars. Ruskell is reclusive and unsociable, though they don't go out of their way to be rude or cruel. They tend to be goal-oriented and no-nonsense, though they can get a little caught up in violence. The one light in their life is their wife, for whom they will do anything. They are 32 years old.Backstory
Ruskell worked as a mercenary for most of their life, doing whatever they were paid to without question or hesitation. They didn't really care about anything save survival until they met their wife, Zendalia Faythorn. She swept them off their feet and Ruskell left the life almost immediately. They were married within months, and things were perfect. Until the ferrum poisoning hit. Once the only thing that mattered in Ruskell's life was threatened, they decided to seek out one last chance, one final ditch effort to try to save her, which led them to the start of the campaign.Trivia
