Rayz L.
Rayz L. (he/him) is a character played by Jayne (they/any) in Arc 4: The Maw of Nathair. He is a Level 10 Path of the Zealot Barbarian, a harengon, and a fisher.
Description
Rayz (Or Ray, he's chill with both) Is a well built, scrappy boi, standing at about 5'7 w/out the ears, he's got dark brown fur, fading into a more hazel color around the face and chest/stomach area, and all over his arms, chest, and back, are a ton of tattoo looking rune looking patterns and symbols that look as if they're birthmarks more than tattoos, but we don't question it. Rayz is a very confused boy at all times, not sure how or why he's so good at being a pirate or why he's got such a murderous reputation, but he rolls with it bc he gets to meet all sorts of fun and interesting people on the way. He takes people at their word always and rarely questions peoples actions or methods, as he's much too trusting of an individual, especially since he runs with pirates. He's a very upbeat and trusting individual and has so much love for every one of his friendsBackstory
Nearly 3 years ago at this point, Ray woke up in front of what he now knows are cultists/extremely religious folks, with no memories and no clue how or why he was brought here. Not knowing where he was or what his name was, he made his name after what he was originally told to do, Raise Hell, so his name became Rayz L. Ray thinks that he's on a totally different world entirely when in reality the world he knew when he was alive was the same world as today, but an ancient, much older version of what it is now. The Cultists told Rayz that he had been dead for many a year, and they brought him back to finish what he started, but he doesn't believe any of that. And anytime he's about to get into a fight, he blacks out and doesn't remember anything until right after the fight is over usually, but what really happens is whatever brought him back to life takes over his body and fights for him, and those "tattoos" around his body shift and merge to turn into the Maul that is his signature Weapon. At some point, Rayz accidentally murdered a bunch of pirates and stole their ship, and after he accidentally dealt with big bands of pirates a few more times, he earned the name "Ship Slayor Ray" and has been unsettled and confused by that title but also does his best to understand the weight that this title holds.During Arc 4

- Ray always has tea leaves and a tea kettle on his person, and loves making tea for him and his friends.
- Ray is also Vegan.
