Nimble "Nim" Silverdapple (she/her) is a character played by Will (he/him) in Lost At Sea: A Tiresian Archives Nonfiction One-shot. She is a Selkie Circle of Stars Druid with the sailor background.
Description
Selkies are a form of seal shifters. They're rare in Kauvet, and almost all of them live on Seal Island, a small island off the northeastern coast. They generally live in natural caves on the island. There is some trade and communication with mainland Kauvet, so it's not completely isolated or hidden, but not a lot. It's a small, close-knit community, and people rarely leave.
Nim is slender, about 5'3", with light tan skin, brown eyes, and long dark brown hair. In seal form, she has silvery gray fur with dark brown spots, and webbed hands and feet to swim better. Sweet and hardworking, she loves her family and friends, tends to get nervous in new situations but still likes meeting new people and seeing new places.
Backstory
Nim grew up on Seal Island in an isolated, close-knit community of selkies, then left to work on a sailing ship when she was 17. She realized she loved making new friends and seeing places beyond Seal Island, so she kept sailing after that, eventually becoming the navigator of the S.S. Steamqueen.
