Nann Armbridge (he/him) is a character played by Hal (he/him) in Lost At Sea: A Tiresian Archives Nonfiction One-shot. He is a Human Battle Master Fighter with the sailor background.
Description
Naan is a slightly short, clean-cut, man with neat, short black hair. He ears the official uniform of the Kauvetian Navy whenever possible, with chain armor underneath. He is muscular and thick-necked, with a bit of a paunch belly. Nann is uptight and extremely concerned with structure and authority. He will attempt to assume command of any group situation, particularly if it happens on or anywhere near water. Though bossy, demanding, and self-important, he is fiercely protective of anyone he considers to be part of his crew (or "crew") and is quick to raise his ceremonial naval shield in their defense.
Backstory
Nann's ship was recently on patrol when it was accosted and boarded by pirates. After heavy losses on the part of the pirates and heavier losses on the part of Nann's crew, the pirates offered to allow the remaining crew to leave on lifeboats if they gave up the ship. While Nann couldn't stand to give up his ship, he realized he was fighting a losing battle. He'd gladly give up his own life defending the ship, but that wasn't a choice he could make for the others. So, he was left stranded, and had to make his way back to the city and dispatch a message. In order to get back to headquarters for debriefing and reassignment, Nann has been hopping from port to port on civilian vessels. He is on the cruise ship temporarily, and is due to leave at the next port of call.
