Laurel Bilis (she/?) is a character played by Felix (they/them) in Arc 8: Ferrum's Light. They are an order cleric/divination wizard.
Description
Laurel is 5'8 with shoulder length black hair, green eyes, and pale white skin. She is stubborn with a very strict set of rules for how she should act in every possible situation. She is always trying to fix something or looking for a new thing to fix as she gets restless easily if she does not feel she is being useful. She is always determined to find a way to accomplish what is in front of her no matter what the personal cost, but she would not want anyone else to sacrifice anything to help her.
Backstory
What kind of a person do you want to become in a land where so many seem to be always sick and suffering? It feels almost selfish to not want to become someone who helps out. Naturally, the only path in life for Laurel was to become a healer and a scholar; someone who can help people physically feel better and someone who can look into ways to solve the problems they are facing long term. Laurel does not worship a god for her cleric domain, she gets her conviction from her ideals and her desire to be an active part of the community around her. For as long as she can remember, she has simply wanted to grow up to be someone who can make everyone around her feel better, and if there is even the smallest chance of fixing things she would give everything she has to make life better for those around her.
