Grifton Leveron

Grifton Leveron (he/him) is a character played by Tristan (he/him) in the fiction one-shot ran for Keiran's birthday, The Estlie Escapade. He is a satyr wild magic sorcerer and a charlatan.

Description

Grifton is an old satyr with a green eyes, white/graying mullet and a big bushy neck beard, and big bushy eyebrows of the same color. He has two curled horns and notably half of the left one is broken off and in its place is a glowing green magic in the shape of his horn. Expensive glove covered hands adorned in various rings of color and size grip a large ornate staff with golds, silvers, and greens that he uses to walk with (which is a lie and he doesn't need it to walk, he just uses to gain sympathy). He wears a black/purple trench coat that is covered in eyes, under that a simply brown suit with a green tie. A ornate metal belt with a fantastical glowing jewel at the center the same color of his broken horn holds up his grey pants.
Grifton is a selfish, greedy, pathological liar who will go to great lengths for the smallest bit of gold. Other words to describe him include but not limited to self-centered, cowardly, over confident, charming, disarming, and most importantly untrustworthy.

Backstory

Grifton was very popular in the Feywild amongst the fey as someone who could "get anything for the right price", he had a good thing going with this for a while until he got greedy. One fey hired him to steal from another fey, "magic artifact of immeasurable power" or something like that. When Grifton finally came face to face with the item, a beautiful glowing green jewel, a sudden urge to claim the object as his own came over him. When he reached out and grabbed the gem, a large magical explosion went off and part of Grifton's horn got destroyed but almost instantly it was replaced with strange glowing green magic. Grifton didn't notice anything after the explosion as he was too busy looking at his new prized jewel in his hands. It wasn't until almost too late that Grifton heard footsteps coming for him, he didn't realize till the guards busted in that they couldn't see him, was he invisible? had he cast magic? he couldn't do that before. Whatever happened he needed to leave the Feywild or give up his new treasure.

• Tristan came up with Grifton Leveron's name by turning "Grift" and the hit tv show "Leverage" into names.
